This festive season, your go-to resource for skin and hair care suggestion

Diwali in the year 2021: With a hectic schedule that requires you to shop, socialize, clean your house, and attend pre-Diwali celebrations, you should prioritize your health and well-being. To ensure that you look your best this holiday season, we've put together a list of simple actions that you can follow to keep your skin glowing and your tresses lustrous.

The festival and celebration season arrives! and the frantic preparations for everything have already begun. We're sure you'll go all out to make the most of this time, from choosing your favorite clothing to deciding on the meal and the decor. But, in the thick of it all, we tend to overlook the most crucial aspect of our bodies, our skin, and hair, which lose their luster and freshness as a result

Advice on skincare:

  • Remember to drink 8-10 glasses of water every day, as this is the best and most vital cure for glowing skin.
  • Protect your skin with lotions and oils containing Vitamin E and essential oils.
  • Because you'll be on the go during the holidays, finish your skincare routine with a smear of sunscreen. Use effective UV protection to combat free radicals and maintain a healthy glow.

Advice on hair care:

  • The way you style your hair can make a big difference in how you look overall. But don't forget that a good hair care routine can help you relax and unwind.
  • Begin with a nice oil massage to hydrate and nourish your hair and scalp. It instantly relieves stress. Coconut oil, Amla oil, Argan oil, and red onion oil are among the best.
  • Following a thorough hair wash, important events necessitate special care.
  • Keratin hair masks work wonders for your hair by revitalizing it.
  • Finish with a vitamin-rich serum to give your hair a healthy sheen.

Advice to stay fit:

  • Make sure you keep up with your everyday training program. If not, do 30 minutes of brisk walking and/or 3 sets of Surya Namaskar with correct warm-up and cool-down – the bottom line is 30 to 45 minutes of activity every day (early morning or evening before dinner).
  • Daily deep breathing techniques such as Pranayama, Nadi Shuddhi, Anulom Vilom, and others to keep your lungs clear, as there will be a lot of pollution in the air due to firecracker smoke in addition to the typical smog.
  •  Incorporate at least 10-15 minutes of stretching into your daily routine to maintain flexibility during the holidays.
  •   To keep oneself stress-free, meditate for at least 5 minutes near the end of your workout.
  •   If you feel like you've overeaten, increase your calorie burn the next day by adding 30 minutes of moderate-intensity cardio, such as a brisk walk + jogging.
